My Approach

We will do more than ‘just talking and listening’. I will encourage you to discover your inner, emotional landscape so that you can really get to know yourself. This newfound awareness will then help you to identify what you need to get better and empower you to take the required steps to achieve your goals.

 

Gestalt Therapy is a type of talking therapy. What distinguishes Gestalt from others is that I am interested in how you experience life in the here and now so that we can identify how it contributes to your discontentment.

 

The past may come up of course, but it is not our starting point (unless you want it to be). Gestalt therapy is therefore highly effective in getting to the root of the problem and quickly. This means you are likely to see results faster and feel better sooner.

 

We will explore your themes together in dialogue where I will meet you with openness and authenticity.

 

Every person is unique and sometimes it can be helpful to look at things from a different perspective through more creative ways of exploring your experience, such as drawing or dreamwork.

 

Seeing a therapist can sometimes bring up painful feelings and memories. I wish to support you in this process with warmth and respect.
